The programme for start-ups in the growth phase | May – July 2020

The Growth Camp is aimed at start-ups in the growth phase with the aim of providing individual support by experts and mentors for the most promising teams in market expansion, production scaling and team development.

Why joining the Growth Camp?

In the ongoing cooperation with start-ups and in exchange with international programme providers and players from the ecosystem, it is evident that start-ups need support in specific business areas in the early growth phase. On the basis of these findings, the 3-month format was developed in cooperation between the Werkstätte Wattens, I.E.C.T. – Hermann Hauser and the Standortagentur Tirol .

Who can apply?

Start-ups with high scaling potential

The company was founded 1-3 years ago

Your product is on the market, you already write sales & have the power and will to grow

Your team consists of at least 5 people and you plan to build your team further

Ideally, 2-3 people from your founder or management team will have time to attend the individual modules of the camp. The contents of the camp are intensively focused on the personal development of founding teams or on strategic orientation and scaling.

The program is open to industry, with a special focus on the Growth Camp 2020, which is dedicated to the promotion of projects dedicated to finding solutions to challenges in the Alpine region – more information on the Alpine Tech Innovation Focus.

Programme & Timeline

The three-month program includes 6 fixed modules, which are held in the form of half or full-day workshops with coaches from the field. Another focus is on Peer-2-Peer Learning, in which later-stage start-ups are networked with the Growth Camp teams and thus an exchange takes place. Each start-up has the opportunity to take advantage of 1:1 advice on specific topics. In addition, each team will have a selected mentor from the industry for the duration of the program.

May 15th, 2020 | Digital Kick-Off Breakfast with the participating teams

May – July, 2020 | fixed modules, flex modules & peer sessions in workshops, 1:1 consulting, mentoring

July 2020 | Closing event with selected audience (investors, established companies, potential partners & customers)

Participation Fee & Costs

There are no participation fees for the start-ups. The program has a value of € 4.000,00 per team, which is covered by grants from our partners.

There are no participation fees for the start-ups. The programme has a value of € 4.000,00 per team (pure costs of consulting services, no overhead costs included), which will be covered by grants from our partners or the INTERREG project (see conditions of participation, section DE-MINIMIS).
